Sycamore Middle School hosted a donor appreciation breakfast Tuesday, Nov. 21 to thank the business sponsors who made generous donations that allowed the school to make a number of facility improvements. With the donations, SMS was able to put the school’s name on the front entrance, purchase new parking signage and paint the front entrance and office area. “Without their support, these improvements could not have been possible,” SMS Principal Robyn Miller said. “We look forward to completing some new projects, including landscaping in the front of the school in the spring.” A special thanks to Joe Henry of Farm Bureau Insurance for spearheading the project.
The business sponsors that helped with the project were Farm Bureau Insurance, Steel Family Medicine, G.S. Moore & Son Real Estate Auctions & Development, Tennessee Trust Mortgage Inc., The Credit Union and Square 1 Construction LLC.
