On November 21, the War Eagles played host to the Eagles of E. Nashville Magnet.
The ladies took the court hoping to gain an upper-hand, but found their opponents fast and skilled. The visitors took an early lead and continued to gain ground during the first half, going to the locker room at half time with a 34-18 advantage. When they returned, the home team had settled down and began to regain control of the ball and mount a comeback.
Midway through the 4th quarter, the lady War Eagles pulled to within 5 points, but could not get any closer and the visitors took home a 50-42 victory.
The men hit the boards hard and their opponents, just as determined. The first quarter found both teams battling hard and ended with a two-point difference.
Throughout the second quarter, the visiting Eagles slowly pulled ahead, hammering three pointers with as much skill as the home team, taking a 34-24 lead to the locker room.
When the men returned for the second half, the visiting Eagles pulled out all the stops and maintained their lead against the War Eagles.
When the final horn sounded, the guests celebrated a 63-42 win.
High scorers for the Lady War Eagles were Callie Gudino with 26 and for the men, Daniel Saylor with 11.
