With many local events being canceled due to the pandemic, the Town of Ashland City has set its sights on bringing the community together this fall.
“Community Together on the Cumberland,” a combination of Sling into Spring, Music on Main, and Summerfest, is on the calendar for October 10 at Riverbluff Park.
Between the hours of 10 AM and 4 PM, attendees can expect to find vendors of all kinds, music, children's activities, food, fall market vendors, and disc golf.
“We want our community to connect with others, make new friends, get out of the house, and nurture long lasting relationships during this time,” a Facebook post from The Town of Ashland City reads.
The event will follow the state’s orders regarding social distancing and recreational gatherings that are in place at that time.
