Cheatham Falls to Creek Wood in JV District Tournament Championship Match

Sycamore High School played host to the District 12AA JV tournament on Saturday, October 1, 20022.

Creek Wood (1), Fairview (2), Montgomery Central (3), Sycamore (4), Cheatham County (5), and Stewart County (6) high school teams met in Pleasant View for a post-season competition.

While the Sycamore Lady War Eagles were taken down by Montgomery Central in the first round of bracket play, the Lady Cubs went on to face a talented Creek Wood team in the championship match.

In bracket play, the Lady Cubs from Cheatham County High faced Stewart County first, beating them in the tie-breaking set, 15-6. That win advanced them to the championship match where they faced Creek Wood, falling in two sets.
