Insight Celebrates 40 Years, Holds Ribbon Cutting and Open House in Cheatham County

Chapmansboro, TN, -- Insight Counseling Centers (Insight) was formed in 1985 by a group of leaders from Middle Tennessee’s business, medical, and religious communities, spearheaded by members of Vine Street Christian Church in Nashville. The nonprofit organization was created to provide mental health counseling that respects the faith of the client, recognizing that faith can be a resource for healing.

Since their founding, Insight Counseling Centers has expanded to nine locations across Middle Tennessee and serves Tennesseans statewide through telehealth. The Cheatham County office is located in Chapmansboro, inside the Church of Christ at Cheap Hill, which partners with the counseling center by providing space pro bono.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary milestone, Insight is hosting a ribbon cutting and open house on March 26 from 11 am until 1 pm. The public is invited.

Insight seeks to make therapy affordable and accessible. The organization raises funds to offer an income-based fee scale and works with companies and other nonprofit organizations to provide Employee Assistance Program benefits for their clients.

Insight’s therapists conduct 5,000+ hours of counseling each year, helping hundreds of individuals, couples, and families work through anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma, among other challenges.
