Sycamore High School students are being dismissed early today, January 30.
According to officials, one of the school’s gas tanks ran out of propane and a strong odor has been detected in the Pleasant View-based school. The odor is causing an environment that is not conducive to learning.
School officials state that this is not an emergency, but they are acting out of precaution.
