James “Jimmy” Claude Brinkley, age 75 of Hermitage, Tennessee, formerly of Ashland City, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the Residence of Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Mr. Brinkley was born on December 11, 1945 in Ashland City, Tennessee to the late Porter and Mary Shearron Brinkley. He was retired after 30 years with S & D coffee company and also served as a Constable for eight years for Cheatham County. He loved to bowl, ride his motorcycle everywhere, and was an avid golfer.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Brinkley and a sister, Lona May.
Survivors include his daughters, Michelle Bannister Brinkley, Melonie Brinkley, Monica (Jason) O’Neil; grandchildren, Jimbo Bannister, Dustin Bruce, Eric Oldham, Anastasia O’Neil, Victoria O’Neill; and great-grandchildren, Courtney Bannister, Hailey Oldham, Lianna Bruce, and Nola Bruce.
