Steven Wayne Wilkerson, age 73, of Cedar Hill, Tennessee died Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 o’clock pm, Sunday, December 20th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. Tom Payne officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 20th, beginning at 1:00PM until the hour of service at 3:00PM.
Mr. Wilkerson was born on July 8, 1947 in Liberal, Kansas to the late William Carl and Mary Brooks Wilkerson. He was a veteran of the United States Army, the owner & operator of Wilkie’s Safety Lane in Nashville, and was a member of the Stroudsville Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Gary Lee Wilkerson.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jane Wilkerson; sons, Kenneth Wilkerson and Keith Wilkerson; daughter, Katie (Jason) Head; brother, Jeffrey (Sue) Wilkerson; grandchildren, Emily (Taylor) Tobitt, Charlotte Wilkerson, Anna Kate Head, and Mary Brook Head.
