Pleasant View Home to New Spa

Emily Dyches and her team of experienced aestheticians have seen great success at their new spa, Pleasant View Skincare, since opening their doors shortly before Christmas.

Now operating out of the space that formerly housed local photographer Meri Crisp, Dyches knew it was the right space to build her business as soon as she heard Crisp was moving to a new location.

Working as a solo aesthetician at The Shop of Pleasant View for three years, Dyches built up enough clientele to finally chase down her dream of working in a spa.

Face and body waxing, massages, hydrodermabrasion, tint and lift eye lashes, henna brows, lamination of eyebrows, all skin type facials, gua sha, foot and hand treatments, hot stone massage, prenatal massage, active cupping, dermaplaning, and hydrojelly masks are services clients can find at Pleasant View's newest spa.

Dyches says there will be more services added in the new year.

"I wanted to provide the relaxing atmosphere and the feeling of peace. I don’t slack on the skin treatment part. It is as results-driven as it is relaxing," says Dyches, a 2011 Cheatham graduate and Austin Peay alum.

As for the team goes, clients can expect to be pampered by very experienced aestheticians- some with over 10 years to offer.

"We have a massage therapist and she has been licensed for over 10 years," Dyches adds. "She worked in Nashville for the NFL team doing customized treatments for pain relief and mobility pre-covid. We also have two lovely receptionists who are happy to greet and answer any questions when visiting. They make sure your experience is as relaxing as their service, professional."

Pleasant View Skincare has appointments available from 8am to 5pm Monday through Saturday; the front desk is available 10am to 4pm on those days. Eager to accommodate, Dyches and her team are happy to see clients earlier or later than their traditional schedule, though.
