Walking down the hallways of Pleasant View Christian School this past Monday night felt more like a fairytale, with chimney sweepers playing accordions, kids flying their handmade kites, Mary Poppins with her magic handbag, and pure excitement in the air! The Spring Family Fun Night is a much-anticipated event for students of all ages!
The event itself is geared toward preschool and elementary students, featuring a large assortment of STEM activities throughout the campus. Students were engaged in creating their own kites, exploring sensory bins filled with ‘Penguin Blubber,’ showcasing their creativity with Burt’s sidewalk chalk, racing carousel horses, leaving with fun silhouette portraits, and more!

One special aspect of the Spring Family Fun Night is its incorporation with the upcoming spring musical. Starstruck students had the opportunity to meet and greet the cast of Mary Poppins Jr., which will be performed on Saturday, March 15th, with performances at 2:00 and 7:00 pm.
The Mary Poppins theme added a magical touch to the evening, creating excitement for the upcoming show while building relationships among students of all ages. The night not only brought joy to families but also encouraged fun and conversation outside the classroom. Students and families alike look forward to Family Fun Night each fall and spring!
Tickets for Mary Poppins Jr. can be purchased at the door on Saturday, March 15th or by visiting www.pvchristian.org. The show is great for all ages!
