Last week, Pleasant View business owner and local alderman Heather Hardwick helped out residents of The Village by securing picnic tables for the development's new park area.
Compliments of her family's business, Brown's Millworks, residents of The Village now have four large tables they can utilize.
“I had heard they were in search of tables and we knew we could provide," says Hardwick whose whose brother recently moved in near the park.
Hardwick, who owns The Shop of Pleasant View, also recently raised nearly $2,000 to build a picnic pavilion at the entrance of the nature trail located at Pleasant View Community Park.
